Andrew Travers

Background

Andrew has a broad experience of both commercial and residential construction schemes of all scales and complexity across many sectors. He started his career in the Royal Engineers as a Construction Material Technician in 1995, and after a brief spell in site project management moved into Building Control. He then went on to become a Director at Quadrant Building Control providing a streamlined building control service for high profile clients across London, helping to deliver the highest level of compliance and the best possible built environment. He has been involved in new build, change of use projects, renovation projects and remediation projects  on a wide range of building types

Areas of practice

Andrew joined the H+REI leadership team in 2024 to help integrate and grow the business as part of the SOCOTEC group. Andrew has a keen interest in the technical aspects of building construction and associated regulations including the Building Act, the Building Safety Act, the Building Regulations and the impact on building performance and use and fire safety
