Ryan Donoghue

Background

Ryan is currently pursuing a degree in Building Surveying at the University of the West of England

His position at H+R marks his first experience in the building industry, and he has adapted to this new environment exceptionally well. Through his studies, he has gained practical skills in report writing, Computer Aided Design, and foundational knowledge in Building Pathology, which he aims to further develop during his time at H+R

Ryan aspires to become a building surveyor, with particular interests in Gothic architecture and historical conservation

Areas of Practice 

Ryan joined H+R in 2024 as an Intern Building Pathologist as part of an optional industry year within his undergraduate programme. While working at H+R, he is also focusing on his dissertation in preparation for his final year. He aims to achieve chartership with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and believes this industry experience will equip him with the necessary skills to advance toward that goal
