Based in Belton, near Grantham, the Lincolnshire office of H+R serves the East of England, including Lincoln, Boston and Peterborough. From here, we work with private property owners, commercial enterprises and charity organisations, providing technical property services such as architectural conservation, environmental health investigations, dry rot surveys and more.
At H+R we are dedicated to preserving beautiful, historic architecture of homes and public buildings, of which there are many fine examples in Lincolnshire. For example, the stunning, Grade I listed Belton House, which is only a short walk from our office, or Belvoir Castle on the other side of Grantham. You can also see Burghley House in Stamford, Grimsthorpe Castle in Bourne and the impressive Lincoln Cathedral in the centre of Lincoln.
Working with H+R
Specialising in period construction materials and techniques used in historic – and often unique – buildings, our team at H+R is focused on understanding the root cause of structural deterioration with a view to providing long-term conservation. To do this, our specialist surveyors, materials scientists and property experts carry out thorough investigations and analysis using the latest technology and advice from academics and research laboratories.
Leading our Lincolnshire office is Associate Director, David Watt, who has qualifications in building surveying, architectural conservation, conservation science and aspects of architectural recording. David is a fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation, the Association for Studies in the Conservation of Historic Buildings, and Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings.
If you have a particular property that requires attention or if you would simply like to ask a question about the specialist services we provide across Lincolnshire, please get in touch.
