Based on the Lincolnshire/Nottingham border, the East of England office of H+R serves East Anglia and the East Midlands together with adjacent regions. Leading this office is Associate Director, David Watt, who has qualifications in building surveying, architectural conservation, conservation science and architectural recording. David is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Full Member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation and accredited as an RICS Certified Historic Building Professional.
The East of England office provides a full range of heritage services and listed building surveyor services in Lincolnshire and Nottingham, including architectural conservation surveys, defect investigations, heritage documentation, repair and maintenance specifications, contract administration and expert witness services. We also have long-standing experience in repairing and consolidating ancient monuments and standing ruins. Working alongside other H+R offices, we have the scope to undertake large-scale projects to assist clients and design teams in assessing conditions, managing risk and developing efficient remedial solutions.

Case Studies
Working with H+R
Specialising in the understanding and assessment of historic building materials and methods of construction, H+R staff focus on understanding the causes of failure, rather than addressing only the effects, so that recommendations for repairs and modifications are robust, cost-effective and sustainable.
If you have a particular property that requires attention or if you would like to ask a question about our specialist services in the eastern regions, please get in touch.
