H+R’s involvement in the planned refurbishment of the Great Hall at St Bartholomew’s Hospital (‘Barts’) in London has involved a lot of investigative work, part of our input being the deployment of a Rothound. Heritage work for institutions such as Greenwich University, Haileybury School and Oriel College, Oxford progressed in the month. Private client work was focused on safety audits for decorative plaster ceilings and condensation risk analysis on the homes of high net worth individuals. Commercial work included the investigation of a large block in Oxford Street which will become Ikea’s biggest UK outlet as well as a prestige gallery in Cork Street, Mayfair and a development in Burlington Gardens
